@TendayiManyange@MudiwaHood He has rights so does everyone else. Nothing heartbreaking about that, what’s heartbreaking is zanupf’s incompetence and the people who support it, who think we can all thrive in this environment when they themselves are leaching off zanupf
@killerzivhu1 The second republic, can never be the best path foward.
1. Healthcare is at its worst
2. The economy has crashed, no electricity, minerals are being looted, corruption, currency instability, lack of trust in the system etc.
I would vote for competent president no matter colour.
The Second Republic has proven to be one of the worst in history, characterized by a lack of accountability, rampant corruption, and poor governance. Public resources are being looted without consequence, while service delivery continues to deteriorate across all sectors. Nepotism has become deeply entrenched, with unqualified individuals occupying key positions due to personal connections, often holding dubious "bedroom degrees." Citizens face relentless brutality, excessive taxation, and an ever-increasing cost of living, making daily life a struggle for many. This failure to address these pressing issues has eroded public trust, leaving the nation in a state of despair and disillusionment.
🔸I’ll never forget the time I was debating Chris Mutsvangwa at Chatham House just before the 2023 election. When I raised concern about the broken state of the economy, the repeated violations of constitutional freedoms and the general incompetence and failure to deliver by Zanu PF, he point blank told me to go and fight my own war to free Zimbabwe.
What I know is that it cannot be the case that every generation has to go to war afresh to free Zimbabwe because the previous generation has failed to deliver on the Liberation Promise. Those who fought sincerely and died for a better Zimbabwe did so so that our generation can be free and have a better life. Not this scum that has become our sorry existence.
When will Zimbabwe develop and make progress, real progress, when we are still having archaic battles with the state about basic things like accessing clean water and freedom of speech?
Other nations went to the moon and came back in the sixties and we can barely do the smallest things like keep the lights on or feed the masses?
When we point out these glaring deficiencies, they send us to jail for crimes that don’t even exist on our statute books.
It’s a real shame and a total mess.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
When we say “chozikanwa hapana “ , motsamwa, but we are going nowhere fast with such leadership, how did the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 hold a grand opening ceremony for a substandard bridge ?
Did you know that Prof Jonathan Moyo is still in exile since 1979?someone tell him that the WAR is over , we have been FREE for nearly 5 decades, zvaizvezvi kwana ED who is soft as wool and he can come back home!!
