The volunteer crew of the Sheerness RNLI lifeboat were tasked by the UK Coastguard on Thursday 4 April to a 20-foot motorboat that was in difficulties in the River Medway.
The ALB was out of the water for a few hours on Wednesday 6 March at Gillingham Marina for her bi-annual 'bottom scrub' and re-paint.The job was completed in quick time by her crew of volunteers.
A teenager was rescued by the Sheerness RNLI inshore lifeboat crew who used their bare hands to dig him out after he became stuck in deep mud.
