What focus would you most like to see for Mods in Lifeboat Earth?

I need to find better ways to make Climate Change this compelling too. A way of visualising fire seasons, climate conflict and refugee crises on the main map, not just in stats.

It's now easy to add new biomes to mods in Lifeboat Earth. As an example, here is some alien red weed (like from #WarOfTheWorlds). #indiedev #modding

One thing this has made me realise is how immediately more compelling such a threat is - Like Climate Change, the red weed is a slow creeping death, but where it differs is in the high-contrast, visible nature of the threat and the clear line of lost territory.

I've been quiet lately as I had to completely rebuild my mod framework (lua wasn't fast enough!) But now that I have, I made a quick mod to generate planets from a height map. The resolution could do with some work, but hopefully this looks familiar #procedural #modding #indiedev

@ForlornDreams99 Yes, sadly also raging wildfires, deadly heatwaves, collapse of entire ecosystems, food and water shortages, often leading to war, many flooded coastal cities and billions of refugees.

@ForlornDreams99 In the unlikely event that I'm still alive, I will be 121 by then, but my son would be 86. I hope he lives that long and that by then, humanity has found a way to live sustainably, peacefully and happily on this planet. I'm certainly doing what I can to bring about this future!
