@CHarringtonMD @jeanluc_banks Is this the type of language/attitude you use with medical students or interns on your service? Most people I’ve known feel like the application process for residency or fellowship can be bit overwhelming.
@CarleyyCarleyy No suggestions for the formula need, do what works best for you, but can you supplement with what you are able to pump even a little can help add up to a bottle here and there. Any thoughts or interest in Baby Led Weaning? No need for baby foods in that case.
@shailinthomas@DGlaucomflecken 😂😂😂😂 As an attending I literally say knock knock every time I enter a room (it’s the simplist way I’ve found to make my presence known. “Knock knock...Hi!”)
@psych_k8 We did one time for our anniversary Sept, it was before holiday surge, was also our first time away from our baby, went to Texas de Brazil, there were 5 families in the whole restaurant but I still felt so weird. That was the only time, none before or after in almost a year!
We DO "trust the science." So we understand that even biological sex can be non-binary, and that doesn't begin to touch on the complexity of *gender* identity. Please leave 'science' out of hurtful and inaccurate political statements!

@GradInWaiting Yes, our health dept use to check car seat installations, they don’t anymore but a community outreach “Watch Me Grow” will check them. We had issue with deep seats and they helped us. In some towns you can go to police/fire station to have them check. I’d call around first.
@wifed_first Before baby my side came twice a year and stayed for long weekend, my husband’s side came 1-2x a year for weekend. But I’d go to my family every 3 months for long weekend and we’d go to his side 2-3x a year for long weekend
After baby my mom, grandma and his mom are always here😂
@TriageNurseMD I agree with killing them with kindness, or at least professionism. My attending was respectful but loud as the surgeon tried arguing with them & they weren’t having it. (Surgeon blamed us for wasting their time for consult, but it was a policy set by surg dept we were following)
@ndyG83 I can’t even tell you how many hospital follow ups lately where the pt was found to have metastatic cancer, then comes to me saying they were told they may have cancer.
Between COVID and Cancer this year has already held more than its fair share of difficult family meetings 🥲
