Today, I enjoyed a wonderful day in the Lab 💻🔎, Carrying out practical sessions on Penetration Testing. Always an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of penetration testing, all powered by Linux!

🔍 From testing network vulnerabilities to identifying potential security loopholes, weaknesses and potential entry points that a malicious attacker could exploit. Always a great hands-on experience!

In an era today where data breaches and hacking incidents are very rampant, organisations need to stay one step ahead of attackers. Penetration testing provides a proactive approach, allowing cybersecurity professionals to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks before malicious actors can exploit them. This lab made use of Virtual machines such as Kali Linux, an Ubuntu Server machine, Windows and an OWASP machine.

Studying for an MSc in Cybersecurity and Forensics at the University of Westminster has been a fantastic journey, and I am grateful for all I have acquired so far. Thank you, @CheveningFCDO, @UniWestminster, @UKinCameroon, for this opportunity. Also, very grateful to my wonderful lecturers at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Westminster.
