@SmithBob2001@Grand_Ole_Evan Men are also just as equally depressed. They just don't seek help and often go undiagnosed due to social stigmas surrounding it. Maybe look at why they are depressed. I'll give you a hint, it's not because they have their freedom and rights.
@BipolarBastard@imtiredtomorrow And I agree that's not right to do. But to openly push against trans people and their rights because you are unwilling to date them or fear they may be attracted to you is wrong as well.
@Joeyforever21@WomenReadWomen@LeonaEsperanza@disclosetv Statistics show there is no increased threat towards women with trans women using these spaces. Statistically speaking there have been no increased rates of assault. You present a strawman argument not based in facts or stats, only in fear.
@Joeyforever21@WomenReadWomen@LeonaEsperanza@disclosetv You also make it far easier for predatory men to access the spaces too as they don't have to try to pass as female or worry about being questioned for presenting as male since they can say they are trans men.
@burnyourbinder In my opinion it would require some form of HRT regiment and surgery requirements. If those two are not met, there are other facilities they can access.
@burnyourbinder Also I feel like it would make women more uncomfortable with people who look like men (trans men) accessing these facilities. I feel like it defeats the purpose of the entire bill.
@burnyourbinder I feel like one of the main concerns and actions for this bill was because biological men were lying & posing as trans women to gain access. Now they don't even have to pretend to be trans women they can just go in as they are without issue & if questioned say they are trans men
@burnyourbinder I'm just stating my concern with it. If you force trans men to use women's facilities then you are opening the door for easier access for biological males to gain access by claiming they are trans men in my opinion.
