6 years ago, as I read books in my little apartment at the time, and the world raged on about mandatory shots, masks on chins, quarantines, protests, general madness, I remember thinking to myself as I sipped my tea:

“I wonder how all of these people will feel when the truth drops in a few years….”

Lining up for an experimental injection that was rushed to market never once crossed my mind. Ironically, the last 6 years overall have been the healthiest years of my adult life.

The oldest known manuscript containing Malachi 3:1 is a fragment from the Dead Sea Scrolls collection known as 4QXIIa (also designated 4Q76 or 4Q Minor Prophets^a), which dates to approximately 150 BC:

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts”

Here, we have the prophet Malachi, who lived about 500 years before the crucifixion, and this scroll being written 2 centuries prior to Christ’s birth, relaying to the Priests of Israel directly: Christ’s warning of his impending arrival. Specifically, the ‘messenger’ who will ‘prepare the way’ (John The Baptist), Jesus entering the Temple (fulfilled in the weeks prior to his resurrection, flipping the tables and predicting it’s destruction-which occurred in 70 AD), and a final last warning, that ‘he shall come’. With these things in mind, It’s very relevant that the book of Malachi is the last recorded book in the Old Testament.

We have scrolls reflecting the text which our Bibles today contain, exactly, dating to 150 years before the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, the anointed one.

There has never been a better time than today to come back to God and get right with eternity.

Dating to the Hasmonean period between 75–50 BC, this Hebrew manuscript was discovered in Cave 4 at Qumran, as a part of the Dead Sea Scroll designated 4Q80.

The following was written nearly a century prior to Christ’s crucifixion:

“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.”
Zechariah 12:10

Unpacking this: 50-75 years before the historically verified birth of Jesus of Nazareth—the Christ—Christos: (the anointed one) … Christ spoke through the prophet Zechariah telling of what was to come. “Me whom they have pierced” and “as one mourneth for his only son” — the Trinity encompassed in one verse, confirmed and in a scroll tangible copy dated from the century prior to his birth.

God is not bound by time. That is why the tense changes from present to future to past, all in the same passage.
