🐾 Help connect people who are blind with the dog guides they need.
Dog guides are an invaluable mobility tool for people who are blind, enhancing independence and confidence in daily travel. For many who already navigate with a white cane, a dog guide can offer additional support, helping them move more efficiently and take on everyday activities like going to the grocery store or crossing the street with greater ease.
Make a gift today that gives people the support they need to get a dog guide! https://t.co/7sToy9F32V

At The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc., career growth is about more than skills—it’s about confidence, connection, and discovering what’s possible.
Through our Career Development Program, employees from Seattle and Spokane explored leadership, communication, and career planning in an accessible, supportive environment.
For participant Clevon Biggs, the experience was transformative, “Just getting over that fear… helped me build confidence.”
From public speaking to navigating workplace conversations, participants gained tools they now use every day—on the job and beyond.
And his advice for future participants? “If you’re thinking about doing it—just go all in.”
We’re proud to create opportunities where employees can grow, lead, and define their own path. 💛
