The most gaslighting-est thing ever is one of those mass texts coming through that has the blurb “text STOP to unsubscribe,” then when you send back “STOP,” they text you again.
Being A Dad: Week 70
I’ve probably said this 100 times but this whole journey is truly about finding & re-finding balance.
Mav spent the weekend at Grandma’s & it was nice to get some alone time with hubbs & get out the house.
But also I’m happy to be back with my Big Mack 🤗
Being A Dad: Week 69
Whew this boy has sooo much energy!! Keeping him out of things while trying to help him learn boundaries is like working two jobs at the same time.
But (most times) by dinner time he turns into the cutest cuddle bug and it just warms my heart 🥰🥹
Preface: I completely understand “time and place” and following rules
That being said, I completely support a well executed graduation celebration after you get your diploma/degree. Cuz you deserve!
But don’t do no bs and waste our time. Practice. Commit. F**k it up!
Being A Dad: Week 68
Work trips hit differently as a father. I mean they’re cool, but I miss my Big Mack so much.
But he’s lucky to have a cool ass Dada to spend some full quality days with while Papa’s away.
Being A Dad: Week 67
I saw a post saying, “A great way to redirect your young child’s curiosity is to involve them in everyday tasks.”
Usually I take these with a grain of salt but this actually worked lol. Little Man is such a good helper!
Being A Dad: Week 66
Personality on 1000%!!! It’s crazy watching Mav just be himself and seeing what “being himself” is, as it’s forming. It’s really wild
And his name fits him so well
Being A Dad: Week 65
Curiosity is slowly becoming mayhem. Chaos. Destruction. And an endless game of hide and seek that I don’t think anyone agreed to play.
Boy Dad fr 😮💨
Being A Dad: Week 63 & 64
While vacationing has become easier and more enjoyable as baby boy gets older, coming back home to where all the chaos/routines exist and realigning schedules…whew. Full of stress.
Does that mean more vacations are needed???
