@AdobeWanKenobi_ I didn’t like the pick. I was very outspoken about that. Having said that, it’s tough to call a guy who posted 16TD the last two years a loser. That isn’t easy to do. He’s been productive. Certainly not consistent game to game, definitely not perfect, but productive.

I see Chargers fans complaining about the team exercising QJ’s fifth year option. I get it, but you’re actually missing the bigger failure.

Don’t be upset that they picked up his option, be upset that the WR room was so bad that they had to pick up his option.

While there is certainly plenty about the coaches to question/doubt, the process & decision to go for it on 4th&1 in Q4 are not among them. 0-4, 4th&1, up 7, a chance to go for the jugular. The outcome doesn’t change that it was the correct decision for that team in that moment.
