More than 2 in 5 men (43%) say they regularly feel worried or low, an increase from 37% in 2009.
To all the men struggling with their mental health, we're here for you this #MensHealthWeek (and every other week) 💙
Thanks to @worrywellbeing for the brilliant illustration.
There is a stigma around mental illness as a whole, but especially when it comes to men.
These things do not make you any less of a man at ALL.

You’ve got it, no matter how you feel this morning, whether you’re ready to smash the week or you feel like you need another day in bed, you can handle it.💪💙

Happy hump day! Halfway through the week and the sun is SHINING.🌞🌈
There is no problem that can't be shared and resolved. No matter how big it feels right now, it will get better and it's ok to talk about it.🧡
Make it your goal to check in with someone today.🙌

Only when we can step away from the outdated expectations of men can we truly start to heal the world.
➡️ Reminder of emergency numbers - ask for help if you need it. If you can't keep yourself safe, it's an emergency.
Thank you for being here, hope you have a great day.💙

Physical activity such as walking in nature can have a positive impact on our mental health. It puts us in a better mood, reduces stress and increases our energy levels. Just simply getting outside could make your day shine that little bit brighter.🌳🌈

The world won’t fall apart if you switch off. No message, dm or email is more important than your headspace, energy or mental health. 💙
Small steps, deep breaths.

Put your phone on aeroplane mode. Say nice things to yourself, talk to your friends. Really talk, tell them how you feel. Get outside. Look up, look down, take it all in. Say nice things to yourself and remember that nothing is so big that i can't be fixed.💙
#TalkMoreTuesdays
The silence around men's mental health is dangerous. The stigma that men don't suffer with these things needs to end. And when they do, we need to stop making them feel "unmanly" and telling them to "man up".
