@CFCDaily No. Chelsea can't be taken seriously in any attempt if the focus each window is "Knighting" our Sporting directors for sales yet not putting out a strong squad to compete for the premier league. Winning the premier league has to first be a priority.
@TheBlueDodger Chelsea was known for being ruthless when it comes to winning. This narrative is very worrying about the standards overall at the club. The biggest thing this window is the sales and nothing much on whether the squad itself is strong enough to compete.
@MaxFSport I think they said the same thing last January before then bringing Sarr as the defensive cover and saying they'll focus on the summer ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ.
@potatoesoncrack@CFCDaily This brief says 4-5 days. If they were not getting anywhere with the deal they could have pivoted to other options like loan deals. Just something to fill the gap adequately till January. My point is, if the priority is to challenge then everything will be done possibly for that.
@TheBlueDodger@liam_twomey So we will be going for another centre back in January then? This is an eternal squad building honestly. No plan. Why can't he just stay and be part of the squad.
@PeakSxnti For sure you have a chance. If you offer the right money you can get any player you want. Even Estevao in January is a possibility as long as you have the money. Chelsea is about sales now they don't care about winning.
@MaxFSport I think it's all part of their grand plan to make sales. I mean who sells a midfielder to a rival in the same league they are competing for. Then boast about the sales they've made.
@TheBlueDodger This and being done by Monaco. Just makes the club look amateurish. But that's what happens when football and winning are not the priority.
