2 Maccabees 12:43-45 = Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical book (not cannon). Even so, it talks about praying for the dead, not to the dead.
As the scriptures clearly say: 'Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living?' (Isaiah 8:19)
