@dogbsj Try focusing more on loving God and as you continue to do that, you'll have less of a desire to sin because you know it hurts Him. We can't stop sinning on our own, it's a process.
I will always defend platonic “I love you.”
I don’t care if you think those words should only be reserved for romantic partners. I tell my friends I love them because I want them to know—without having to guess—that they matter to me.
Every goodbye is a chance to say:
I love you. Take care of yourself. I’m glad you’re in my life.
Why would I keep that to myself?
If I’m being real, my relationship with God isn’t perfect. Some days I feel close to Him, other days I know I could do better. But I’m learning that walking with God isn’t about getting everything right. It’s about choosing Him again and again, even when I fall short.
