He walks to the car, keeping her close as the sounds erupted from behind them.
“We can do that. You’ll get to rest sooner if we do.” He agrees with a nod, opening the car door.
She’s nodding her head enthusiastically, taking his hand.
“Would you like to get the food to go and then head back to the hotel?” She asks, a soft smile appearing on her lips as she still heard the cheers and screaming from the stadium.
She bit down on her lip as she finished getting ready and stepping back out of her dressing room.
“Oh, is it?” She commented, a yawn escaping her lips.
“Weren’t you supposed to make an outfit for me?” She teased, nodding to the request to get changed.
Moving from under his arm, she began walking to the dressing room and quickly changed.
“It’s too beautiful to mess up.” He teases before pausing briefly to consider.
“Y’know, come to think of it. I haven’t seen the show enough,” he laughs, “c’mon, go get changed.”
“How many times have you seen this show?” She shook her head, smiling. She was starving.
“I doubt it would be the best idea to get food in this outfit.”
“Sad I missed parts of it, but it was great to see even a piece of it.” He directs her to the backstage where security’s already waiting to arrange vehicles.
“Surprise, indeed.” Emma laughs, waving a little while longer before they’re both out of sight. A smile lighting up her face from the adrenaline from the show to Max showing up.
on the opposite side of the country, he has the same images emailed to him with question marks attached. that alone makes him grumble; the questioning.
without leaving a response, he texts Emma. he’s almost certain she’s seen the photos by now, so he chooses to tease. ‘at »
