@studentactivism Plus, the urban parts of those states are, what, 10%+ of the national population all on their own? They're phenomenally representative for such a small fraction of the country's political organization. It's the federal government that's unrepresentative.

whenever i talk about listening, academics often dismiss what im saying as common knowledge. i have yet to meet an academic that doesn’t see themselves as a good listener. i have met very few who actually are. listening is extraordinarily hard. few do it well/ with care.
