@PackChat1887@droppinlogs1738@khalidmangum00 I know several people who grew up NC State fans but went to UNC who publicly root for NC State when they play
I assume you’re not going to think that’s bizarre?
You can tell where a school really falls in the college basketball landscape based on their reaction to the tournament expansion
It’s going to help some out a lot more than others
@LupusBeowulf Caleb Love improved his scoring every year while at UNC going from 10 ppg his freshman year to 16.5 ppg the year before his transfer. His shot making and passing ability greatly improved. He is currently playing for the Blazers in the NBA
@LupusBeowulf Elliot went from an 18% 3pt shooter to a 33% 3pt shooter while at UNC. He saw a big jump in playmaking ability between years 1 and 2. Sure he didn’t win the natty at UNC, but to say he wasn’t developed by UNC is objectively false
@LupusBeowulf So RJ Davis going from the bench to a consensus first team all-American isn’t development since he didn’t make the NBA?
We can’t develop a kid’s height 3 more inches so not sure what else we could’ve done.
@Colttoonnnn@LupusBeowulf A one-and-done NBA player is seen as a development success while a 4-year guy that went from bench to MOP wasn’t developed properly 😭
@tiddyboyhoe@LupusBeowulf I was unaware that every highly ranked recruit of all time was 100% developed and ready to play at the highest level of college basketball
