I know Netflix wants to make as much money as they can, but the Roasts should’ve been moved to Paramount+ first to see how it would do on there. Paramount owns Comedy Central so it makes sense.

I feel like Netflix should’ve left the Roasts with Comedy Central. Yes TV is dying and they wanted to make money from Views, but the Roasts are too offensive for the Average Netflix Watcher / Black Person to watch without some type of Warning about the Content. Let me explain

The Point of Offensive Comedy is to show that we can’t laugh at one thing and then be sensitive about another. It either is all free game, or none of it is. That’s why a lot of them took risks that night to just see what lands and what doesn’t.

The Roasts are supposed to make you feel uncomfortable. They made jokes about Dead People on Kevin’s Roast, 2 of them being Kevin’s Parents. It just is what it is.

And my black people… I feel bad for them 😭🤣 those jokes made by the whites are very racist… but that’s a point of the Shock Value Comedy: being Racist, Homophobic, Ableist, Sexist, you name it! Nothing’s off limits. Not every joke was funny, but a lot of them did shock me 😂

Roasts are supposed to be offensive. It’s no holding back. Roasts are Shock Value Comedy. And a lot of the time, the “joke��� won’t be funny; it’s just shocking that someone actually had the balls to say it. Comedy is very suggestive and not for everyone
