@megbasham I don't think you are accurate in saying he was represented by a public defender. My understanding is Mike Howard is a private attorney and was hired but please correct me if I'm wrong.
@brvttie This was the first movie I have seen her in. I’m about to start Purple Hearts to see what I think of her in that role. I didn’t think the acting in My Oxford Year was bad but I didn’t feel any genuine emotion from her character and nothing super interesting about her character.
Watching #TheSummerITurnedPretty and anyone who has been in Greek life knows it’s a cardinal sin to let someone not in your organization wear your letters 😳😂 You would be sent to standards immediately and likely kicked out.
Watched the episode of Kendall Roy performing a rap song at the event honoring his dad for the first time last night and I am still in shock/can't get over it 😂 What was that?! #succession
I’m stunned by the season finale of @tellmelieshulu 😳 I’ve been rooting for Lucy the past 2 seasons but her actions this episode show how messed up she really is. Leo didn’t deserve that. As to the others:
Love how diabolical Diana was 🔥
Poor Wrigley 😔
Stephen is a sociopath
@AppleTV I’m torn because too many suspects have been introduced and can’t be ruled out. Also, I dislike the defense Rusty’s lawyer wants to go with. I think Rusty is absolutely correct that he needs to present an alternative theory to the jury, specifically an alternative suspect.
@CourtTV@AshleyCourtTV I also wouldn’t give too much information about my defense at such an early stage during this broadcasted hearing. Not enough time has passed to conduct a full investigation and I don’t think it ultimately helps your client to say this so early on. Just my thought, it’s a tragedy
@CourtTV@AshleyCourtTV Agreed it was a compassionate act by the Judge to allow the families to speak. However, I don’t agree with letting each family member speak at length about how they have been impacted at this stage. This was supposed to be a bond hearing and it clearly turned into a sentencing.
Each affected client was required to give informed consent, confirmed in writing, to essentially waive the conflict. See above Rule 1.7 (b)(4). Not to take away from the tragedy and senseless act of violence. Just to provide some insight into the conflict. #LasVegasShooting
For anyone wondering about the conflict of interest in the Las Vegas lawyer shooting. See Nevada Rule of Professional Conduct 1.7(a)(2). It sounds like both lawyers who were killed had a personal interest in the representation of their client. #LasVegasShooting
