local parish sells Christmas trees but if you want to actually wait TILL Christmas then your local Church won't have any trees for you. So if you decide to actually celebrate the seasons and do penance during advent and celebrate Christmas when Christmas actually starts and go through the whole season it's exciting for you bc you either cut down your own tree, buy a fake one, or travel the area to find someone with a tree nobody wanted to buy that may not make it to Feb 2.

Everyone in the neighborhood may have lights up now. You be the one in the dark or put purple lights up. When they turn their lights off then you be that house with the lights on and have Christmas music playing. The secular crowd is partying now. As the saying goes "be a stranger in the city". If people ask then tell them why.

I always loved this time during Uber days. Not many advent songs so tried to play a few in the car or just have Billy Idol channel on. When Christmas came around? I'd have Christmas music on for weeks. Riders would go "is this Christmas music? isn't it over?" then we get to discuss the 12 days of Christmas and the season etc.

People tweet or do podcasts on making this a Catholic land. Can you do a little evangelization with lights and decorations? Or are you scared of your neighbors? If you can podcast or tweet but are terrified of your neighbors don't click record.

The craziest part about these female Catholic influencers is that none of them seem to care about holiness. Wives who submit to their husbands do it out of love for Christ. If you won’t obey your husband you won’t obey Christ. For the husband is the head of the wife. You protest this at the cost of your soul. It’s no different than the Protestants who refuse to submit to the Church. This is not about oppression, it’s about eternal damnation. The male Catholic influencers who refuse to tell women this truth are more concerned with the approval of their audience than the truth of God. They will be held to account.
