@naomi_PUNC21 Just think of it as building those patient empathy skills π youβll definitely be able to relate to them after all youβve been through. Hope you feel better soon π
@MountGouldHosp @UHP_NHS Another move? I had a placement there last summer when they were still in Ernesettle. Absolutely loved it, great team⦠but wow, they are expert movers by now!
@amymannn92 Kanye West's words of wisdom (cleaned up): "there'll always be haters, that's the way it is, because haters marry other haters and have hater kids" - This mindset is taught to people and becomes ingrained, but happy people don't hurt people so just be glad you're not them.
@PUNC21_shan I use lavender pillow spray & have a hot (decaf) drink about 1 hour before bed - something about the way my body temp comes back down after the warmth of a hot drink makes me sleepy. Also, no screens for the last hour before sleep - I read instead (fun reads, not uni stuff)
@PUNC14 When I felt like giving up, a nurse friend of mine said to me "do you know what they call a nurse with a Third? A Nurse. So don't get hung up on grades, do yourself justice but if that's a third, it doesn't matter" - we are people, not numbers and that's why we were made to nurse
@PUNCAbibea SMASHING IT! Glad you're enjoying yourself... I'm kinda wishing I hadn't chosen to take some time out, even though I know I needed it. Can't wait to be in my blues with all the rest of our amazing 2020 cohort x
Not me deciding to take time out after the degree ended and then wishing I was in my blues already with everyone else π I know I needed to give myself a break after 3 bereavements in 3 years, but I do wish I was having those "first day in blues" moments with all of #PUNC20
@PUNC20Jasmine Personally, I'm more concerned with finding a supportive team for my first job (taking some time out currently after finishing the degree) - I want to have a positive learning environment and then shape my career later on, when I feel more confident! It's such a diverse career.
@shinybluedress@WeStudentNurse@WeNurses Bless her π my mumβs student nurse uniform was like thisβ¦ and she definitely hasnβt met Florence Nightingale π
@JessPUNC22@UHP_NHS Well done on finishing your first year! I remember feeling like it had flown by too, and now Iβve just finished final year. It goes so fast, make the most of it π
I hadn't realised that most MPs can claim Β£5500 per child on expenses, for up to three children. But it certainly puts the two-child benefit cap in perspective.
@NadGillespie Absolutely tragic innit ππ got 37p in my bank, checked NHSBSA to see if bursary is going in early and it says itβs going in on the 24th instead of the 25th. Only a day sooner but Iβll take it π
@PUNC20alice We are all so tired but we are very nearly there! Last push to the finish line now. Super proud of all of us for how hard we have worked to get this far and in difficult times!
If everyone who has been grateful for the NHS over the past 75 years followed and retweeted weβd reach a million by midnight.
Please take just two seconds to show you care.
