I want to confess something that has been eating me alive. A few weeks ago, I lent my wife my car because hers was in for service. I didn't think much of it, I trusted her with my whole heart. After all, this is the woman I built my life around, the woman I told everyone was my blessing. Later that night, when I got into the car, I noticed something strange in the back seat.
At first, I thought maybe it was rubbish or something left behind, but when I picked it up, my whole world crumbled. There were two used condoms in the back seat of my car.
Two. And none of them were mine.

Using fingerprint for my payment on opay almost ruined me yesterday😭
I wanted to send money to a friend then I gave her my phone to input her account details.
After pressing the account details, she proceeds to write the amount and handed the phone back to me.
Little did I know that the amount she pressed was higher than the money I wanted to give her and she already pressed the "confirm" payment button.
She gave me the phone and the first thing I did was place my hand on the fingerprint sensor on my phone and the next thing I saw is a notification telling me my transfer is successful 😭
I checked my balance and I realized that is not the amount I should have left.
She transferred back the money when I found out through my transaction history and I removed the settings from my payment options.
A yahoo boy in my street sold the car he bought for ₦10 million for ₦900,000 after six months.
This guy had been living a lavish lifestyle for more than a year. Not long after, he bought an expensive car and used it to carry different ladies around, moving from one hotel to another.
Last week, I saw him sitting in a shop selling female clothes. It turned out that one of his yahoo friends had scammed him of ₦20 million and ran away with the money. He said he is not doing it again.
He sold the car he bought for ₦10 million for ₦900,000 and used the money to open a shop. I passed his shop yesterday; he saw me and said, “Bros, come and buy clothes for your girlfriend. I dey here now o.”
I was shocked; he normally doesn’t greet me before.

I've given her everything I could. I've never stepped out of our marriage, not even once, because I believed in us. But clearly, my love and loyalty mean nothing to her. Every time I look at her now, I feel anger and shame burning inside me. I feel like a fool. I keep asking myself what kind of man lends his wife a car and gets it back full of another man's sin. This thing has broken me. I don't know how to face her. I don't know if I should confront her, or if I should just leave silently. All I know is, those two condoms didn't just break my trust, they buried the love I thought I had.
I just sat there, holding them in disbelief. I felt like the ground under me had given way. I couldn't breathe properly. I wanted to scream, I wanted to cry, but most of all, I wanted to deny what I was seeing. I kept asking myself, what kind of man am I, that my wife could use my car for this?
The very car I use to go to work, the car I worked so hard to buy, became the place she used to betray me. She came home, smiling like nothing had happened, talking to me like everything was normal. I just stared at her, wondering how she could look me in the eye after what she had done. I didn't say anything because I was scared of the truth that would come out of her mouth if I confronted her. From That night I couldn't sleep. I kept seeing those condoms filled with cre@m and the smell of betrayal still lingering in my nose. I've been a loyal husband.
