I hope everyone will read Dave Ramsey’s comments about going cashless. It’s a two minute read. No one has explained it better. He brings up several situations I'd never considered.

I took this picture of my receipt in my beautiful town Kerrville Texas. I support this and I can see how this could affect our kids by having gaps in work ethic, financial literacy, and community connection.

HERE'S WHAT NO CASH ACTUALLY MEANS:
A cashless society means no cash. Zero. It doesn’t mean mostly cashless and you can still use a ‘wee bit of cash here & there’. Cashless means fully digital, fully traceable, fully controlled. I think those who support a cashless society aren’t fully aware of what they are asking for. A cashless society means:

* If you are struggling with your mortgage on a particular month, you can’t do an odd job to get you through.
* Your child can’t go & help the local farmer to earn a bit of summer cash.
* No more cash slipped into the hands of a child as a good luck charm or from their grandparent when going on holidays.
* No more money in birthday cards.
* No more piggy banks for your child to collect pocket money & to learn about the value of earning.
* No more cash for a rainy day fund or for that something special you have been putting $20 a week away for.
* No more little jobs on the side because your wages barely cover the bills or put food on the table.
* No more charity collections.
* No more selling bits & pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cash in return.
* No more cash gifts from relatives or loved ones.
What a cashless society does guarantee:
* Banks have full control of every single penny you own.
* Every transaction you make is recorded.
* All your movements & actions are traceable.
* Access to your money can be blocked at the click of a button when/if banks need ‘clarification’ from you which will take about 3 weeks, a thousand questions answered & five thousand passwords.
* You will have no choice but to declare & be taxed on every dollar in your possession.
* The government WILL decide what you can & cannot purchase.
* If your transactions are deemed in any way questionable, by those who create the questions, your money will be frozen, ‘for your own good’.

Forget about cash being dirty. Stop being so easily led. Cash has been around for a very, very, very long time & it gives you control over how you trade with the world. It gives you independence.

If you are a customer, pay with cash. If you are a shop owner, remove those ridiculous signs that ask people to pay by card. Cash is a legal tender, it is our right to pay with cash. Banks are making it increasingly difficult to lodge cash.

Please open your eyes. Please stop believing everything you are being told. Almost every single topic in today’s world is tainted with corruption & hidden agendas.
Pay with cash & please say no to a cashless society while you still have the choice.

@Eowyn_the_Fair @nickitruesdell Almost all classes in my area accept funds, so prices stay high. Not just “classes for homeschoolers.” Very hard to find someone that doesn’t around here unless it’s maybe an old neighbor willing to teach a certain skill.

Our national parks are for the benefit and enjoyment of the American people, not for sale to the highest bidder.

The Trump Administration must reconsider this move.

Many environmental commentators want to take the most extreme interpretation possible and rile people up.
Even when we disagree with a policy, we seek to be truthful about what’s actually happening.

Here’s the context.

First, the corrections: What’s proposed is an exchange, not a gift; equal value is required by statute.

Compressing this into "Trump sells off Yosemite" isn’t a constructive way to begin the conversation.

One more: the claim that America has only ever expanded our parks for 150 years is false.

Congress cut ~30% of Yosemite in 1905-06 to open it to timber, grazing, and mining. Of course, that also doesn’t mean we need to do it again.

Now the part that's real: Land exchanges are routine, and often good policy.

NPS, BLM and the Forest Service use them constantly to retire inholdings, square up ragged boundaries, and make land actually manageable. Nobody serious objects to the tool.

Still, exchanges are supposed to run toward the public. An agency identifies land it wants and trades to get it.

In this proposal, the direction is reversed: the initiating party is a developer who wants commercial access. There is zero precedent for NPS shedding parkland to serve a corporation’s bottom line.

If access is the problem, the ordinary instrument already exists: a bounded, conditioned right-of-way. NPS grants those, and nothing leaves the park.

The courts already found this parcel isn't landlocked; it has a road. "Inconvenient" is not a reason for a land swap.

Equal value on paper is not equal value for the American people. You cannot appraise a strip of Yosemite against the value a private road into it creates. Parks are not a land bank.

Conservatives above all should say it plainly: our natural heritage is not for sale.

It’s easy to present as a good person in good times. The only way to reveal a person’s true nature is to see them under stress.

I fully accept Lindsay Clancy had serious mental issues and was neglected by doctors.

But hundreds of thousands if not millions of women went through that exact same scenario, and did not emerge on the other end killing their children.

I believe Clancy went through a fairly ordinary situation, and revealed herself to be monstrous.

Death penalty.

And this video shows exactly why men are ordained to be the leader of a household, not women.

Every time I look up, I see a new terrible answer or thought coming out of Mark Mullin’s mouth in this interview.

He proudly announces nearly 900,000 naturalizations in 12 months (95% third world immigrants), then lectures us about the legal process.

He celebrates your replacement as long as it’s done legally, without mentioning that 80% of legal immigrants will vote Democrat.

This is the man running our Department of Homeland Security.

And we wonder why we’re going to lose the midterms?

@MrDanielBuck In CA, I know several parents that get an IEP for their child specifically to skirt the insane vax laws. Their child gets extra time on tests and isn’t required to get 50+ shots. Not saying this is right, but it happens quite a bit.
