@becksthewrecks @ginnyhogan_ That is so frustrating and honestly wrong. Yes, there are fetal concerns w/ antidepressants, and some are definitely out, but there are several choices that are ok. Both my psychiatrist and OB agreed that me being off meds completely would cause more harm to the baby.

@KayHayEh @clhubes I think that’s just what’s expected. That’s what everyone in my neighborhood does and has always done. Maybe it differs by neighborhood, but we have tons of kids in our neighborhood so if everyone who had kids didn’t have out candy, there would be very little candy.

@tilga @saucymincks @clhubes Exactly. My son designs roller coasters, makes levels in games, plays chess (he’d rather do that off screen but none of the rest of our family is good enough so he plays with chess bots), does word games. Also, sometimes he just zones out to silly YouTube videos, which is ok too

@clhubes I found the pictures I took of it. Also, as you can see, we were eating in the car. 😆😆 (They didn’t learn cursive, he just wanted to be “fancy” so he asked how to write the title in cursive 🤷‍♀️)

@clhubes It was probably about 5-6”. It was an impressive fry. And, despite trips to Disney, NYC, Boston, etc.; going to loads of museums, playspaces, playgrounds, the zoo, the pool, the beach, Monster Jam, AND MANY MORE, it was the most exciting thing that had ever happened in his life.

@clhubes Ive said this before, but when my son was in 1st grade they wrote a personal narrative about something exciting that happened to them. We were always doing fun activities, taken lots of great trips, etc. He wrote about the time we were at McDonalds and he got a long fry 😆😆😆

@clhubes The official hours for our suburb are 3:30-8:00, but when our kids were small, we’d usually get started around 5:00, mostly because that’s the earliest my husband could get home from work.
