When you see a narcissist for the monster they are, you will no longer want to be involved with them. Sometimes this process is slow because you believe that you can “change” them, but you’re the one that will change as the narcissist chips away your identity and self-confidence.
Narcissists will never reciprocate the love and kindness you put into them, unless it somehow serves their interests.
Once you stop feeding their egos, they’ll quickly disappear and move onto their next supplier.
