You know, this got me thinking. While I was/am miffed that the white materia is no longer green like in the original make of the OG, where you see it as a green bobble in Aerith's bow, in Rebirth...It isn't glowing green. It isn't even glowing.
@Maignangioia @StrawderryST Although since the Weapons had at the time saw humans to be as much a threat as Seph, Holy probably also would have killed everyone like Bugenhagen mentions, and the Planet probably 'changed its mind' because of the party's defeat of Sephiroth/Jenova.
@SebTH1@Maxemldr It was announced because right before they did, there was a massive hack, and what we saw was probably made as a sample for higher ups and/or an in-progress announcement that would have then been leaked.
You can see from lack of textures that it wasn't a polished preview.
Fun fact: Hydrangea season in Japan is early June through July aka the rainy season. The KH anni coincides with Tokyo's traditional peak cherry blossom bloom, so the hydrangeas are out of season for an anni commemorative picture!
- Ansem using his body to beat Sora to a pulp? Okay. Ansem, same, Kairi? Time to manifest his heart and soul
- Calling out both their names in the unvoiced scenes added in FM
- "Take care of her"
I made a post about this a while ago that was more sarcastic than anything, but Riku deeply cares about Kairi, and it's not comphet. MSpec exist.
- He kidnaps Jasmine to find out her location
- He gets angry at Sora when he thinks he's not looking for her
- Neverland
@chrono732@teyvattabloid Genshin is in the top 5 earners of the app stores. They didn't need hardlock old characters as non-viable against the Wild Hunt, especially with reruns existing to make money off old ones and better looking graphics on new characters.
@chrono732@teyvattabloid If you were good enough, Abyss was completable with only the free characters + Noelle from the first pull. Difficult, but doable.
4 years later, and we got shills saying 'health of your account' like enemies that have double health without new 5-stars isn't insanely predatory.
@Tiffany31016503@Captain_Chaos01@5ducks5 The US has imminent domain my dude. My grandmas family home, the first part being built in the 1600s, was demolished for an interstate. The compensation was laughable and there was no way to say 'no'.
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil your joints and ligaments, pretty commonly need to have the poop cut out of you, have risk of extreme depression that can lead to suicide after pooping...
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil I wasn't making a 'your mom' insult. Genuinely ask her.
If you want an analogy, it's passive in the same way having COVID is passive. Daily digestion does not permanently change your brain, run risk of death, permanently not being able to digest + other health problems, change
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil Ask ANYONE who's been pregnant how passive it is.
Holy shit this is a new level of 'traditionally women's work is undervalued'.
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil How safe that would be would depend on the drug, but it's still not comparable to pregnancy where you need a medical intervention that is not legal everywhere to stop.
And again, you are undervaluing pregnancy by calling it 'passive'. 'Hopefully automatic', yes. Passive, no.
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil This was the question: "No. The key part is "a reasonable time frame". Think of any other job where you cannot even have a break within a nine month period. I'll make it easier: one week instead of nine months."
Someone doing a drug study can quit any time they want.
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil The person also specified no breaks. A pregnant person can't just take the fetus out for a 1 hour break and put it back in. And that would be the ONLY way to take a break from the job of 'being pregnant'. You are highly undervaluing what is gone through for pregnancy.
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil Unless there is an extreme lack of soldiers, people on the frontlines at war are rotated/given breaks or else they are, again, a liability.
That you're reaching into MILITARY CONFLICTS and still can't name a job that someone works 24/7 for 7 days should tell you something.
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil My family is Navy. The US armed forces are insane but no one is on active duty 24/7 for nine months, especially not the people in charge of the nuclear engines. NO ONE wants them to be tired. They have normal ass shifts unless there's an emergency.
@TheNohtus @GoneZal@hecubian_devil You do know that pilots can safely go on strike anytime they are not in the air...right? That's how previous pilot strikes have worked.
@hecubian_devil IDK maybe it's because paid surrogacy will always violate worker's rights because you have no weekends off of being pregnant, nevermind vacation and sick days. Other paid labor doesn't NEED to do that.
Sure, surrogates could unionize for BETTER conditions, but that doesn't fix
