@Ship_Love_00 usually i take anonymous reddit accounts with a grain of salt, but this has more credibility bc the original post talking about their experience comes from the Kamloops subreddit and was made by someone who consistently posted in the Kamloops subreddit before the controversy
@hudsoncunt i'm not sure if crosby and ovechkin ever fought each other either. i think for hollanov it makes sense that the two of them never fight each other because it underscores the fact that the rivalry is what is externally placed upon them
should connor storrie get his flowers? definitely! should it be at the CSA, at the expense of ignoring canadian talent? no! i dont know why people are even upset about him not winning a canadian specific award. isnt it enough that hudson is sharing his win with connor
no seriously, wanting the CSA rules to change so connor can get a nom or win is like asking for white history month or a straight pride parade. isnt the CSAs about uplifting canadian voices and media without being overwhelmed by american media
@edthekraken well shane is asian sid crosby. asian men have a stereotype for not being tough or gritty, and we know that boston wanted a "tough gritty" pick. so it was racism that led him to be drafted 2oa
@Veronicatrash13 i feel its weird bc ppl often mischaracterize how troy reacts when being confronted with his villain arc. he'd just apologize pathetically over and over again, and he won't try to give any excuses for how he acted.
