I don’t know who needs to hear this…
But filling your life with beauty deliberately, every single day can change your brain, your mood, and even your sense of purpose.
Go seek it. Twice a day. Three times if needed.
If you’re looking for a sweet, easy, retro teen romance read, I highly recommend “Practically Seventeen”. It’s one of my absolute favorites.
Originally written in the early 1940s, it’s the first in a series of six, and they’re all fabulous, with so much to love in each one! 🥰
Remember when dating, dances, going steady, and soda shops were a staple of teenage life?
Those days were before my time, but I learned to long for them when I read my first teen soda shop romance: “Practically Seventeen” by Rosamund du Jardin.

@byMorganWright Find out if there’s a shoe/bag repair shop in your area that can fix it. It’ll probably cost less to get it fixed after the discount, than to replace it at the full price cost.
Everyone’s angry with Anne now. Christie ends their friendship, and Ron’s through with her, too.
He takes Anne home well before midnight and returns to the dance to try to win Polly back.
And Anne is left all alone, crying at midnight.
The end.
Do you think Anne finally learns her lesson and grows up after this dance debacle, or is she the sort of society girl who will always remain selfish and self-absorbed no matter how many relationships it ruins?
Let me know your thoughts on how life ultimately turns out for women like THAT ARCHER GIRL…

May I have this dance through the dramatic dénouement of THAT ARCHER GIRL?
While technically part of the 1950s teen soda shop romance genre, author Anne Emery certainly didn’t give her heroine Anne Archer the classic fairytale ending.
Will this sly socialite finally find love and a plan for her future? Or will her immaturity get in her way?
