DO Day 2024 is in full swing! The osteopathic profession's largest public policy and advocacy event of the year is here, allowing you to represent the voice of your profession and educate members of Congress on the issues that matter most to you and your patients.

Hanging with Tennessee Reps and Senators today working to pass healthcare legislation related to Medicare, violence against healthcare workers, and student loans! 🏛️@AOAforDOs@NYITCOMAR
Using this free time during 4th year to read — highly recommend @drbrianwilliams incredible book about the intersectionality between race and medicine and how we can all do better. If you’re in Texas - check him out, he’s running for office!
Hey #medtwitter My name is Lilly and I’m so excited to be applying to #internalmedicine this cycle!
I 🩷 crit care and infectious disease, love going hiking, doing yoga and pretending I’m laying on a beach somewhere tropical!
Looking forward to connecting with all of you! ✨
@G_Qualter Annotate your First Aid book as you watch Boards and Beyond! And keep a list of concepts that are the hardest for you and then search for those Anki cards and make decks for them 😊 you’ve got this!! 💕
National SOMA has had the most amazing weekend kicking it off with DO Day! We loved seeing SOMA members from across the country taking part in advocacy efforts with their state legislators.
@SenatorWicker Myself, along with 4 other MS medical students so appreciate the time that your amazing staff member, Katy, spent with us on DO Day, and we are grateful for your support of the osteopathic profession!
You took time out of your incredibly busy schedule to both advocate for and honor our profession. We thank you so much. You’ve always been super heroes to us. And every superhero needs their theme music. #DOProud
Today was THE DAY! Went to both the House and Senate to bring attention to HR 2474, HR 1202/S. 704 & THCGME program! Legislature supporting resident loans, physician compensation and teaching hospitals in rural areas!
Huge thank you to @WCUCOMDO@AOAforDOs@DOsofMOMA
Spent the last 2 days learning about THCGME’s, Medicare payments for docs and the REDI act; and am so appreciative of the MS legislators who took time to meet with us. Looking forward to a healthier future for the Magnolia State! @advocates4dos@AOAforDOs@DOsofMOMA@NYITCOMAR
