The Eastern DR Congo 🇨🇩 sad reality.

In Congo’s heart, where shadows fall,
A tale untold, a whispered call.
Children, innocent, in a land of strife,
Bound to darkness, robbed of life.

Beneath the earth, where gems do gleam,
Tiny hands, like phantoms, dream.
Forgotten laughter, replaced by toil,
In the mines, where tears embroil.

Oh, little souls, robbed of your mirth,
In the cradle of despair, a heavy birth.
Tiny fingers, once to play,
Now bear the weight of night and day.

The sunken eyes, reflections deep,
Hold tales of sorrows, secrets to keep.
Amidst the rocks, a playground lost,
Innocence paid, an unthinkable cost.

Muffled cries in the silent air,
Injustice rampant, beyond compare.
In the mines of despair, where echoes ring,
A lullaby of pain, where dreams take wing.

Yet, amid the dust, a resilient spark,
A glimmer of hope in the endless dark.
For in each child, a universe untold,
A spirit indomitable, a heart of gold.

Let our voices rise, a chorus strong,
A plea for rights, where they belong.
To free the hands that bear the chains,
