@agayshrimp @Empty_jr Currently working on an AU fic, and yeah that was a real big concern. My planned work around is that they all go back into comas and Rocky stays awake to feed them taumoeba. However it's still an extreme gamble.

It came out of nowhere but when writing the scene where The Mary rotates so the sampler can be dropped, I came up with this idea. Yao thinking about the ship piloting the ship like he's dancing with the her. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of it sooner.
