DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND

PRESS RELEASE

POS EXTORTION:

DELTA STATE POLICE COMMAND REVEALS OITCOME OF ORDERLY ROOM PROCEEDING,
OFFICERS INVOLVED REDUCED IN RANK FOR EXTORTION, REITERATES IGP'S BAN ON POS TRANSACTIONS IN POLICE STATIONS

The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, psc, acipm, mnips, has upheld the findings of the orderly room trial of Inspector Augustine Jeremiah and Corporal Miracle Ehirim of 'C' Division, Asaba, who were captured in a viral video receiving money from a motorist through a Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal within the station on 13 January 2026.

The officers were found guilty of Disobedience to Lawful Order, Extortion and Discreditable Conduct, contrary to the provisions of the Police Act, 2020 (LFN). The Commissioner of Police consequently upheld their punishment of reduction in rank, with Inspector Augustine Jeremiah reduced to Sergeant and Corporal Miracle Ehirim reduced to Constable.

CP Yemi Oyeniyi, psc, acipm, mnips, reiterated the Inspector-General of Police's zero-tolerance policy on extortion and professional misconduct, stressing that IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, unequivocally prohibits the use of Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals and other electronic payment platforms within Police stations and formations. He warned that no officer is authorized to demand or receive money from members of the public under any guise, adding that any officer found culpable will face appropriate disciplinary action.

The Commissioner urged officers and men of the Command to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and respect for the rights of citizens. He noted that the disciplinary action should serve as a deterrent and reaffirmed the Command's commitment to discipline, accountability and public trust. He also encouraged members of the public to continue reporting cases of police misconduct through the Complaint Response Unit on 09155570008 and 09011112311.

People who survived the 2014 bear market made MILLIONS in 2016-17.

People who survived the 2018 bear market made MILLIONS in 2020-21.

People who survived the 2022 bear market made MILLIONS in 2024-25.

People who survive the 2026 bear market will make MILLIONS in 2028-29.

It's that simple.

The year is 2029:

$BTC is above $200,000.

$ETH is around $8,000.

Several of your alts are up 5x-10x in the past year.

You are checking your wallets 10 times a day, and every time it's at a new ATH.

Your family and friends have started asking for crypto advice.

Your parents are retired because of you.

You have hit the MILLIONAIRE status.

Life is going exactly the way you wanted, and you are proud of yourself for not giving up in 2026.

This cycle will go down as the most manipulated in history.

Not just because of the October 10th crash, but because almost every model broke.

- $BTC made a new all-time high before the halving.
- "Sell in May and go away" failed in 2025.
- Bitcoin closed its post-halving Q4 in the red.
- The post-halving year closed red.
- Bitcoin dominance never had its major crash.
- Alt/BTC bled for 4 straight years.

For a while, it convinced almost everyone this cycle was different.

Then, right as people bought into the 5 or 6-year cycle theory and went all-in, Bitcoin topped on the exact 4-year cycle date and crashed the whole market.
