Mitch McConnell is a sitting United States senator, and the public has gone weeks without seeing him live. His office says he’s recovering at home, and we’ve gotten statements and photos, but at this point, a simple live appearance would end the speculation in five minutes.

This isn’t Unsolved Mysteries. Nobody needs secret clues, grainy pictures, or another carefully worded statement.

Just show the American people he’s okay.

That’s basic transparency from an elected official.
