@MartinSLewis Listening is not doing. There other ways to pensioners who are a little above pension credit get help. The tax office knows exactly who has money and who doesn’t. The housing associations know who is renting and the rents charged compared to the annual pension.

@SEANLWOODCOCK What about the pensioners who have a very modest private pension and live in rented accommodation. As for the coming triple lock, it will be taken up in my case by rent increase, service charge, electricity, and council tax. Every year I am worse off, I never have extra.

@Keir_Starmer Maybe pensioners should go on strike. Starmer do you know how many pensioners do voluntary work. Charity shops, hospitals, car driving, libraries and more. The cost of these services would be millions. It’s pensioners who are propping up the infrastructure.
