@joem_io Leave them kids alone for ONE second and now they’re making their own boards instead of depending solely on Nintendo. We used to just trade paint huffing memes and wonder about notches.
@Tyranks10@Quest2Smash @timbitpikmin @Riddlesmk Yep! Controllers with macros that do more than 1 input per press (pressing X for an X+Y input for guaranteed shorthops, for example) are illegal. Mods like Snapback don’t necessarily improve how you play - it just makes your controller more reliable
@Quest2Smash @timbitpikmin @Riddlesmk Aha it happens and I get it - FG characters are hard as heck to get consistent and that’s really what makes Riddles the madlad we know him to be
@Quest2Smash @timbitpikmin @Riddlesmk If you’re finding smash attacks to be messing up your inputs, maybe you can lower your “stick sensitivity” in the control schemes. Stick Sensitivity to Nintendo means how many frames you’re given for a smash attack and has no effect on your movement. Nintendo weird af like that
@Quest2Smash @timbitpikmin @Riddlesmk A Snapback mod would decrease the amount of misinputs caused by the action of flicking the stick. I wrote about it a little more here: https://t.co/zUWww8y4qg
@timbitpikmin @Riddlesmk I just moved to a new city so I’m still picking my life up, but soon I’m going to try putting out some more Budget builds for the less showy players
@timbitpikmin @Riddlesmk On this specific Riddles build, it’s in the $190 range - here’s the breakdown
$90 - T3 Jpwhite Controller
$40 - no-reset Snapback module
$35 - braided cable
$15 - Slickbox mod
$10 - Tactile Z Mod
