@GendoWasRight 1) Nobody is saying we should go digital because they don't fit on one disc.
2) Nobody actively plays more than 7 games at one time.
I have 12 games installed right now on my PS5 SSD, and it's more than I need. With digital you can just redownload from your library. It's easy.
@diegosousabyte Oh, fun. More internet dipshits showing 15 seconds of a game saying "Gameplay experience!".
It's disingenuous, you're showing a transitionary scene that in previously would've been a cutscene or a loading screen. They did the same shit with 007.
Braindead complaints.
@GregoryGosson@AshenOne_VI What I'm fully onboard with is player choice in your experience. I don't want a "fully immersive" experience in my games, but having some choices over hud element visibility, size, and placement are great when you can get them.
Letting players choose immersion level is ideal.
@fedurante England brought civilization to the darkest, most primitive, corners of the globe.
What does Islam bring to Europe, aside from thousands of mosques and exploding crime stats? Oh, they also bring a culture that hasn't grown in 2,000 years.
Islam is a brutal, disgusting religion.
@QTRBlackGarrett I don't think you realize how badly these administrations and districts hold anyone from being held accountable. They literally force teachers to pass illiterate dipshits to keep numbers up. And their parents don't give a shit either.
@sportslvr59 If you stop watching things because woke retards make it, or star in it, well...you will have nothing to watch.
Separate the art from the artist. Dude might be roont in real life, but the show is fun.
@msq_dev@_Deez_Games Yeah, there are way too many shitty open worlds, for sure.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint vs Wildlands is a good example. Breakpoint's world feels empty and lifeless, despite technical advancements it holds the game back. Wildlands is superior because of it's open world.
@msq_dev@_Deez_Games You don't have open world fatigue, you have SHITTY open world fatigue. Valhalla's map was boring and felt lifeless, that was the problem. Size just serves to amplify that problem.
@_Deez_Games You're depressed because most people don't give a shit about any of this. You're mad about a sound financial decision by Sony.
The fight people should be having is for consumer protections. I.e. buy a license means it can't be taken away. That's a legal change.
@hawkdeltaX30@DocStrangelove2 You can think it's dumb all you want, but it makes no financial sense for them to keep doing it.
Right now they are cementing plans for what the ps6 will have in it, and it's not cost effective to include a drive almost no one uses. Then why make the discs at all?
@hawkdeltaX30@DocStrangelove2 But a ps5 emulator is inevitable, like every other Gen system ever to exist.
People are mad, but it's a minority of ps gamers. Not enough people care about this.
