20 years ago there was no frigatebirds nesting on mainland Ascension, this was today.
The feral cat eradication on Ascension is a huge conservation success and this is the evidence! #Seabirds
Had a lovely morning ringing Kittiwakes at Dunbar with the Northumberland Ringing Group. Unfortunately productivity was low with many empty nests. #SeabirderSaturday

Conservation work on Ascension requires involvement from the local community. Volunteers participate in beach cleans, removing invasive species, planting trees, installing signage and even tagging sharks. We are incredibly grateful for the support! #InternationalVolunteerDay
SHE DID IT AGAIN!

At an approximate age of 74, the queen of seabirds returned to Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge last week and began interacting with a male.
THE JAMESTOWN AIRSHOW
Set out to photograph the cruise ship on Saturday, but seduced into chasing the soaring trophy birds instead. Great aerial show going on above the town.
