Yr 1 spent the day celebrating International Nurses Day! In History they made links between nurses today and Florence Nightingale. Through role play the children identified some key characteristics for a nurse- honest, gentle, protective, kind and caring.#InternationalNursesDay

This week our Yr 2 children started a new scheme of writing around the book The Dragon Machine (by Helen Ward), which tells the story of a young, overlooked boy who becomes aware of dragons hiding all around him. There was lots of excitement as the children spotted dragon tails.

The whole school enjoyed their introduction to cricket yesterday with @SurreyCricketFd The children developed their skills to be exceptional batters and fielders.
