@burkeblack@ryryyogahead Measurements and how clothes fit are better metrics. The scale is an asshole and if you are weight training, which you should be doing, muscle mass if more dense than fat. Meaning you could be recomping and seeing no loss, but you exchanged a lb of muscle for a lb of fat.
@burkeblack Good luck man, but let’s look at some numbers. It takes a deficit of 3500 calories for each pound lost, this become even more stark once the initial water weight is lost. Meaning 5 lbs would be a deficit of 17500 calories. The healthy way of doing that much would be over 3 weeks
