William Ruto thought the death of Raila Odinga meant the fight was over.
He celebrated too early. He mistook the departure of one giant he compromised for the death of the struggle.
Then came Rigathi Gachagua.
William thought he had silenced the opposition. Instead, he got a man willing to confront power head-on, expose killers and speak the uncomfortable truth.
Rigathi Gachagua is now part of the battle Kenya cannot afford to lose.
Ruto thought Kenya was his playground.
He forgot one thing: God can raise a new voice when the old one goes silent.
The fight is not over.
It has entered a new and more dangerous chapter.
#KomboaKenya
There’s a reason they won’t push this as Grand Coalition, because they know very well this is the kind of coalition that has the potential to serve Kenyans, not their interests.
A Maraga, Omtatah and Sifuna led government has the potential to right so many wrongs in this country. That is exactly why the conversation will quickly shift to who can bring votes, who has numbers and who is “electable”, not because they care about Kenya but because they need politicians they can control and who will protect the very system that has looted this country for decades.
This idea that we need Person A, B or C because they will “bring votes” needs to end.
Go out there and campaign for the candidate you believe in, talk to your family, talk to your cousins, talk to your grandparents, form groups, have conversations, convince people… this is how democracies are won.
No one has a monopoly on votes in this country. As someone once said, THE VOTER IS THE KINGMAKER!!
Why are we waiting for the same political class that helped ruin this country to tell us which direction Kenya should take? Until we understand that the opposition is not a group of wealthy politicians fighting each other but you, the people, demanding better leadership, we will keep surrendering our power to those who have never had our interests at heart.
WANTAM!!
NTSA has been collecting instant traffic fines through its automated speed camera system despite the High Court previously suspending it over due process concerns.
Motorists now say there are no clear warning signs and no fair way to challenge the penalties.
Oya @IPOA_KE , the murder of Eric Otieno should not slide.
This is an open case that needs immediate prosecution.
The OCS Muthaiga Police Station must produce the arresting officers and all the officers who were on duty that night.
Muthaiga Police Station has been very notorious in crime against humanity.
It's the only police station where Kiambu based criminal enterprise nowadays books government critics, because other stations have been rejecting them since the Albert Ojwang' matter.
Eric deserves justice!
#JusticeForErickOtieno #EndAbductionsKe
The average price of a car in Kenya has gone up 72% in the past two years, driven by higher import costs and KRA's new vehicle valuation schedule.
For example, a Toyota Vitz (1300cc) now costs about Sh1.5 million, up from Sh1.3 million.
We thought it would end with Albert Ojwang, or Julia Njoki. Muthaiga police arrested Eric Otieno on Saturday and on Tuesday he was dead. They BEAT him to DEATH! We can't live like this Guys. Somethings got to give. Thursday ni Maandamano.
ERIC OTIENO KILLED AT MUTHAIGA POLICE STATION 🛑
His name is Eric Otieno, 20 years old.
Eric was arrested on Saturday night, 2nd August 2026 and detained at Muthaiga Police Station on charges of ' PREPARING TO COMMIT A FELONY.'
On Sunday night at around 11pm, his family was called to pick him at the station.
On arrival, they found him already released and wailing in pain.
The family says that Eric kept on saying, " wamenipiga tumbo. Wamenigongagonga kwa cell."
He was rushed to hospital and declared dead on arrival.
@IPOA_KE , the family of Eric demands justice.
This is another case of Albert Ojwang'.
The charge, ' PREPARING TO COMMIT A FELONY ' is always a fabricated charge.
A street boy from Kisumu was once charged with the same and it took Wakili Bush just ten minutes to free him.
The I.O was unable to explain what kind of a felony he was preparing to commit and no weapon was produced in court.
There's a tendency of police officers arresting innocent people when they are unable to get real culprits.
We demand #JusticeForEricOtieno . #EndPoliceBrutalityKe
Even the USA, that has some of the most restrictive tourist visa requirements do not require tourists to have mandatory health insurance.
But here we are, the minister of health has decided that any tourist coming to kenya must get a mandatory $50,000 Insurance.
They have decided to kill even the little tourism going on.
And why is the directive coming from the health ministry? Was the minister for tourism too engaged in Yoga to provide input?
No matter your political affiliation, patriotic Kenyans should push back on this . Not even in Europe does one pay such huge amounts in form of a tourist health insurance cover. Also, why is it mandatory?
Tourists will opt for other countries instead of Kenya.
This will HUGELY affect locals whose jobs depend on tourism . This GAZETTE struck future tourism related Jobs for millions of Kenyans.
The big question is: why is @WilliamsRuto allowing @HonAdenDuale to kill the tourism sector under his watch ? Why are they rendering Kenyans jobless ?
Dear Kenyans, take note of this Gazette when you cast your votes next year!
Rigathi Gachagua just said the quiet part out loud.🚨
Ruto wants a parliamentary system so he can simply buy enough MPs to stay in power indefinitely.
Now, before the usual “you hate Ruto” replies start…
A parliamentary system is excellent.
Look at the UK. It works where institutions are strong and corruption is low.
But here’s the Kenyan reality no one wants to address:
In a high-bribery environment:
Corrupt MPs + Parliamentary power = 30-year rule.
- You lose the direct right to elect your President.
- You lose the two-term limit protecting democracy.
- MPs become middlemen paid to sell your mandate. They will be bribed left right and centre. The president will make stupid decisions and we will be left helpless.
So the question is simple: Do we defend the Constitution that gives the people the final say… or hand the keys to a system bought every 5 years?
Your move, Kenya.
My X family & fellow Kenyans, are you okay with the IEBC plan to kill live streams?
Why do you think this govt is pushing this?
They want to kill live results.
They want to count in the dark.
They want us blind and silent.
-We must reject it.
-We must reject it.
-We must reject it.
This is how trust dies.
This is how elections get stolen.
We shouldn't keep queit.
Our votes. Our eyes. Our future.
They should Keep it live.
No darkness. No games.
Reject.
The number of Kenyans who cannot afford a healthy diet has increased by 9.6 million to 44 million over the past eight years, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization
