@RealBirdLawyer@dcherring@DeAnnSmithkc Much like the “Hendrix chords” on guitar or the “BB Box” Bonham literally mastered a triplet so clean it became known as the “Bonham Triplet.” So I believe in that aspect he should get some respect as revolutionary on the drums.
@RealBirdLawyer@dcherring@DeAnnSmithkc I will have to push back on Bonham being a Keith Moon clone. And not led Zepplin as a whole being revolutionary just JBJ and Bonham for what they did on their instruments. Bonham was playing stuff that made other high level drummers turn their head and wonder how he did it.
@RealBirdLawyer@dcherring@DeAnnSmithkc I have to agree that Page stole a ton of blues music with no attribution. I don’t agree it made the music worse, I personally enjoy them.
However, John Paul Jones and Bonham were revolutionary despite Page’s theft and the theft shouldn’t destroy their legacy.
@JonathanWa14337 But the idea that “somehow” Dart is getting it worse than Jameis is pretty bs. Jameis was drug through the media for all of that.
Additionally, public opinion is public opinion, for better or worse. You make a political statement 50% of America isn’t going to agree
"It reflects what togetherness looks like - we don't have to agree with people's perspective, but we should support their perspective because that's what they believe in"
Jameis Winson on the situation with Jaxson Dart, Abdul Carter, and the Giants:
@JonathanWa14337 The original SA was found to not be credible and no charges were brought.
Theft was a cover up for the store giving him free crab legs so he didn’t violate NCAA improper benefits bylaws.
Uber accident never had any charges or a settlement, and NFL suspended him.
Jameis Winston is one of the great leaders in all of sports today. He was asked about Jaxson Dart introducing Donald Trump, and used the FIFA World Cup as a way for us to appreciate diversity:
“Are we just gonna get mad and say, ‘why are these people from there coming over here?’ … Or are we gonna embrace the diversity that sport brings us?” 💯💯
@kamikazecash No, because social security provides a safety net that isn’t directly tied to how well the stock market does.
I also don’t believe having everyone’s retirement tied up in the stock market is prudent given the capability of it to crash.
@HaydenHawk24 Love this to be honest. Only downsides is the dipshits in South Bend refuse to bend the knee to conferences because they prefer to leverage that to get special treatment
@RedcastRob I again find it wild these people are gainfully employed and paid to make what is easily the dumbest take imaginable.
Give us a participation trophy and defund the football program if that’s the case.
