UPDATE: The RX Burn on the 16 Springs Project Area on the Sacramento Ranger District, Lincoln National Forest, has been postponed due to high humidity and weather patterns predicted this week. Conditions will be reassessed after Sunday to look for better windows of opportunity.

Crews are currently responding to the #BlueFrontFire, a 25-acre grass fire located near the Salt Fork and Blue 2 Fire scares on the Smokey Bear Ranger District.

Evidence of illegal tree cutting in the Guadalupes. These ancient juniper trees are vital to our ecosystem.

Personnel do a quick seed count survey following aerial reseeding operations on the Lincoln National Forest's Smokey Bear Ranger District. Restoration work is already underway on the Lincoln in the aftermath of the #SouthForkFire and #SaltFire.
