Lennie Gilling is no longer a volunteer mod on SLMOC. After starting his own Mini group, the Self Preservation Society covering Bourne, Oakham, Stamford & the Deepings, he decided to step back completely from South Lincs MOC. We didn't ask him to, or expect it but times change 🤷🏼‍♀️

I notice on the top row of the lorry with Mini Metro's something there were few of... A Mini Metro van. My first husband's friend (Gilly) owned a white one back in the early 1990's

These photos made me smile. An old photo of 3 car transporters full of Mini's, such an awesome sight. I have only ever seen mixed loads, and then from 1980/81 is a transporter with a couple of Minis and some brand new Mini Metros as they were originally badged as. #Austin

South Lincolnshire Mini Owners Club attended the 31st annual show of Boston Classic car club a couple of days ago and two of our members were runner up in their classes so well done Trevor Robinson and James North 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥈Car entries had to be over 15 years old to qualify.
