Honored to receive at the WTO the President of Mozambique, HE Daniel Chapo and his delegation including Minister of Economy, HE Basilio Zefanias Muhate, Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, HE Americo Muchanga, Ambassador HE Geraldo Saranga and others. Mozambique‘s potential for trade related growth is substantial given its agricultural, fisheries, critical minerals and oil and gas resources as well as services. President and I discussed these potential growth pathways and in which areas the WTO can be of help. In addition, a good discussion on WTO reforms and how Africa can benefit from such reforms.
