@MyrtleAnne2@BCFerries Same. Prepaid and then sit for four hours and wait and wonder. They cancel our ferry and we wait and watch everyone that arrived behind us board the next ship. Staff just say “sorry, can’t help you” wait in lane 11 please. @BCFerries
Dear BC Ferries;
When I prepay for the 5pm ferry two weeks ago and you cancel it, please do not tell me I may not even make the 7pm ferry. Your reservation system is terrible! Stop apologizing and get it together!

@jodyvance@GlobalBC@steeletalk@george_affleck If you could correct your tweet that would be appreciated. Police arrested him…..they didn’t let him go. That is a lawyer/judge decision.
700 Swimmers in BC off to Provincial Championships at @saanichcommonwealth pool this weekend and no spectators allowed in the facility. Victoria Royals play tonight at @saveonfoodsmemorial center and up to 7000 fans allowed. Why @JonHorgan@melaniemark is this allowed to happen?
@JayJanower Varsity sports also cancelled so let’s not forget our student athletes. These athletes have been respecting and following health orders so it doesn’t seem fair to pull the plug on them because they are 19 and over. Next year is an Olympic year for so many of them.
Perfect example right now on why the #LPGA struggles to grow it's brand...we have 4 golfers in a playoff for the Ladies Scottish Open, they hit 1st playoffs shots and #GolfChannel leaves their coverage to show us Feherty? You think that happens if it was a #PGA playoff?
@jarmstrongbc@GlobalBC Great question! Wish most municipalities could explain why indoor facilities are not open yet. They seem to have gone radio silent and we need to remember this at election time.
Swimmers are back in the pool at UBC Aquatic Centre.
Each person gets their own lane for 45 min.
Must reserve a slot online, sign waiver, arrive swim ready and answer screening questions at the door.
It seems to work well.
Why aren’t city-run community centres doing this?
A recent review of hundreds of studies has found mounting "evidence of a cause-and-effect relationship": Experiences in nature led to improvements in attention span, self-discipline and physical fitness, all while reducing stress. https://t.co/uPcxAlQS8E
