Summer heat is more than uncomfortable for people experiencing homelessness. It can be dangerous.

That's why communities across the country are working to help more people move indoors. Denver has reduced street homelessness by 64% since 2023. Dallas has reduced it by 87%. Atlanta has helped nearly 500 people move indoors through Downtown Rising.

Every person who moves into housing is one less person facing extreme heat without a safe place to go.

That's what progress looks like.
