When he didn’t make it back to the lodge Tues night, his family reported him missing. Rock sent a text to his son about the situation. His son was also able to also speak to him on the phone Wed. Family tells me he mentioned being in a cabin with someone who was helping him

Last recorded image of Rock Stanley at The Retreat at Mount Charleston before his hike Tuesday morning. The 75-year-old never returned to the lodge. His wife reported him missing that night. Now family and search teams are trying to locate the missing hiker.
