I had a very interesting talk with an Uber driver (and yes I greeted 😂😭✋🏾) and he said before he joined Uber, he was armed response (SAPS) in Jhb North.

One night, his colleague was patrolling around that area and came across a Range Rover which seemed dodgy. He then pulled them aside and ordered them to open the boot. Mind you, these are Nigerian men.

The boot was full of drugs. As he was about to alert his colleagues, one of the Nigerian guys pulled out his phone and called the station commander telling him they’d been stopped by a cop. The station commander requested to speak to the cop on duty and said “don’t involve yourself in things that have nothing to do with you.”

Did this cop not resign? His entire family was in danger as a result of stopping those guys.
