@ELittlechild Stay positive Sweetie! Tos far more effective and rewarding to stay optimistic and hopeful than fall into negativity and pessimism. It's what the Doctor would usually advise surely
@Tsoukalos Will do! You 100% opened my eyes and mind to the depth of the fathoms of truth behind what was just a childhood belief/knowing that aliens were real. Your wisdom is much appreciated 💖
Russia’s first submarine was constructed in Saint Petersburg in 1724 and underwent testing before Peter the Great himself.
In the early 1720s, during the reign of Peter the Great, self-taught inventor Yefim Nikonov introduced the concept of a “secret vessel” designed to travel underwater and strike enemy ships. Fascinated by naval advancement, Peter personally supported the ambitious project.
Nikonov’s design was a wooden, barrel-shaped submersible strengthened with metal bands and sealed using leather and pitch to resist water intrusion. Built for stealth and combat, the vessel was even envisioned to deploy primitive explosive or flame-based weapons. A prototype was constructed and tested on the Neva River, where it demonstrated potential but also revealed major issues, including leaks, structural instability, and poor depth control.
Following Peter’s death in 1725, official support quickly vanished, and Nikonov’s groundbreaking submarine project was ultimately abandoned. Though it disappeared long before practical submarines became reality, his invention anticipated many modern underwater warfare principles, including sealed hull construction, buoyancy control, and submerged navigation—more than a century ahead of its time.
@Caspersight Same! Even when I was convinced to try one 3 different times. They fail to function properly for any of their designed purposes! They PISS ME OFF!😂😂
