The stars were made to light up the sky, but what were you made for? Excited for my first picture book WE ARE STARDUST for the Christian market. Read an excerpt here: https://t.co/qcO9pqvYig. Many thanks! #amquerying#WritingCommunity#faithpitch#kidlit#picturebook#God#mom
Join a mother and daughter on an evening in the park as they gaze through a telescope and discover that God made them from the dust of the stars. WE ARE STARDUST is a poetic, scientific retelling of Genesis and story of empowerment for children. #faithpitch#kidlit#picturebook

Does anyone else feel like dinsoaurs and unicorns have taken over all the toy aisles, kids clothing depts, and picture book racks for like, a little too long now? How about...squirrels. Anybody like those? #kidlit#picturebook#WritingCommunity

Excited to announce I am now working in the finance sector!! (Which is still teaching!) I love financial literacy and helping everyone set up retirement accounts... because employers don't offer them like the used to! DM me to improve your financial house. #FinancialFreedom
The defining characteristic of our God…because we couldn’t get to him, he came to us. He climbs into the trenches with us, fights when we can’t, stands when we’re weak, faithful when we’re not, strong when we’re scared. He’s our peace, our comfort, our refuge, our shield.
At my school visit, a little girl came up to me in the library and said, “Look I have some poetry books, so I can be a poetry writer just like you.”
I almost burst into tears right there! I’m done- day made!

Where are my chronic illness friends who have kids? In my new book of short stories (see pinned tweet) I write about invisible illness in a way kids can understand. It’s one of my favorites in the collection. Other short stories covering SEL topics. Available on Amazon.
